i agree, check out his team and see what he would probably go for then give him a very very good player. there is no use in giving pick 3 an advantage

On the 10th, when Vancouver would have had two days to pick from the date he believed the draft was to start, the best player remaining on the board should be assigned to his team, as currently ranked in free agency. Otherwise someone will be required to do a subjective evaluation based upon what we think Vancouver might do. I believe he would take either a small forward or center, based on his needs. However, I don't know which position or specific player he would choose, and my guess is probably not the same as other league owners. So, I think the only equitable solution in this case is, if Vancouver doesn't pick by the 10th, to assign him the player at the top of the board and move on.

If we need to assign him a pick, I would happy to volunteer to recommend one, given I've already made my first round pick and won't be picking again until #64, so I have no vested interest in not giving him the best available player for his needs. I think it would be harsh to give him the guy at the top of the list who is 31, a SF, and terribly flawed. He traded up to 2nd so he obviously wanted to use the pick on something good.

That gives me an idea -- maybe, if the other party agrees (I don't remember who it was), we could just solve this issue by revoking the trade which gave him the 2nd pick in the first place, and giving it back to whomever had it originally. Who was it?
